Some fun facts!
Here are just some random fun facts you too can discover about Honey by watching or reading Ouran Koukou Host Club!!
Cute but Scary
- If awakened abruptly during his daily nap, Honey turns into a beast that destroys anything in its path. In the anime, they included a story about Honey helping out the U.S Army with some training and an officer who tried to wake him while his was napping, followed by a giant bunny shape cloud.
- In the anime, when Honey realized true stength came from accepting who you are, his father challenged him to a match in which Honey beat him up to the point of sending him to the hospital. Apparently someone from the military had witnessed the fight and asked Honey never to use his abilities completely or Japan would be suspected to have weapons of mass destruction.
- Both Honey and Kyouya have the same blood type: AB. Probably has to something to do with their mood when awakened. (except Honey likes to wake up early unlike Kyouya)
- Honey can eat 3 whole cakes at once and can even devour an entire 3 story cake as a midnight snack.
Clones

A cute coincidence? Some time ago, I was browsing around Deviant Art and I found this fan art that featured Ouran characters dressed as Fruits Basket characters. I had the chance to watch Furuba before I watched Ouran and I felt some similarities between the 2, especially because they're both wonderful stories.
But anywho, in the author's comments, she mentioned that both Mitsukuni and Momiji had the same seiyuu (voice actor/actress)
Here are a few similarities:
- Both of them are blonde and have brown eyes, plus they are both really short for their age.
- They are both often mistaken for children despite the fact they're in highschool.
- They have the same cute little boy attitude and seiyuu (voice actor).
- They are often related to bunnies, Honey is usually associated with them and Momiji as well especially since he is possesed by the spirit of the rabbit from the zodiac.
- They are always hanging around someone who is quiet yet cool or wild. Mitsukuni is always with Mori, Momiji is often seen with Hatori or Hatsuharu (which are a lot like Mori).
- They both give cute nicknames to people and are always smiling and cheerful.
Its quite funny that they have several similarities, especially because they have different creators. But I guess its because a comedy shoujo manga/anime is not really complete without an adorable loli-shota character don't you think?
